What is a work of art? Is it a cultural commodity or a commercial product? What limitations adhere to artistic creation? What is a Biennale and what is its purpose? The answers to these questions can be found in the program of “The Biennale goes….to school!”, which includes visits to schools throughout the city which have already begun by the State Museum of Contemporary Art in the framework of the 1st Thessaloniki Biennale of Contemporary Art. “The Biennale goes…to school!” is incorporated in the program “Education-Culture” of the Ministry of Culture ...
