This year the Festival of the Moni Lazariston is collaborating with the Thessaloniki Film Festival, having at the same time the support of the Municipality of Stavroupoli and the 1st Thessaloniki Biennale of Contemporary Art which is organized by the State Museum of Contemporary Art. 

The function of the open-air cinema located at the Moni Lazariston aims to give a new impulse to the function of the open-air cinema during August, which is going to include weekly thematic tributes, films that are concentrated on the Biennale’s theme, as well as various music and other parallel events.
