My work is a research on the relationship between points, text and texture. It deals with a series of semi-transparent landscapes of words that imprint-draw with a pencil on a transparent piece of paper- the gap between words and the blurred outlines of the letters- an attempt to approach the depth of the entity behind the words, a literal registration of the trace that the process of writing usually leaves behind. The imprint of the writing also creates embossed images of text which develop on the surfaces as illegible landscapes of words. Some drawings-texts copy entire books on paper by means of carbon paper, accumulating layers of writings on the same surface, and creating an impenetrable writing which eliminates the text and its meaning, and therefore underlines the trace and the texture of the writing as an image of a text.
